Develop SEO-enabled content from creation that is ready to deliver across all devices. Even just a few changes will have a significant impact on your website’s ranking. Don’t forget – it will still take time to see your hard work come to fruition! Authority is measured by the quantity and quality of inbound links to your site, as well as its technical performance and structure. It can take months to see a real impact from SEO, and if your site is fairly new (ie. you just launched and have little to no content), it will take even longer to see noticeable results.

Backlinks, backlinks, backlinks!

The number of referring individual domains linking to your website or webpage is a very important factor in Google’s algorithm. Customers today are on mobile for a large part of their digital experience. More searches today take place on mobile. Compared to desktop, mobile devices now account for 65 percent of all digital time spent. All content produced should serve the needs of customers on these devices through responsive web design, fast mobile load times, page navigation and layouts that reflect the needs of mobile users. Adding links and information to a forum signature, for example, is a good way to quickly spread awareness about your website, especially if you post often on a specific forum. Besides voice search and Google’s focus on that, more is changing in and for Google. Specifically: a few new technologies and a profound new way of looking at the web.
